Villa I Barronci is located in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, a resort nearby Florence, in the hilly territory of Chianti Classico Fiorentino.

This residence is characterized by the cosy and sophisticated atmosphere of a country Relais with elegantly furnished rooms equipped with all comforts, a wonderful garden including forest trees passing gradually on to the typical l olive groves and vineyards of these hills. The swimming pool with whirl pool is in sunny and panormic position.

At the beautyful manor house of Villa I Barronci you have the opportunity of spending relaxing days in comfortable rooms and out in the garden, under the shady trees or around the wonderful swimming pool. Also, leaving from Villa I Barronci, you can visit the most important Tuscan Art towns that are not far from here: Florence only 15 km, Siena 50 km, Pisa 60 km, San Gimignano 30 km and Volterra 50 km.

Chianti Classico is produced in this area and you may visit the production places and cellars of this world famous wine. Wine Tours can be arranged.

Florence can be reached by car in few minutes.Spend your day there and then get a rest in the wonderful and quiet Chianti region.

The residence has been renovated recently and all rooms are sound-proof and equipped with private bathroom, hair dryer, satellite television, telephone with outside line, air-conditioning, independent central heating, minibar and Internet cable connection. Moreover each room has an electronic access key. Furniture is made with care and suitable for this type of rooms.

All common areas, reception, breakfast room and hall are air-conditioned, wide, quiet, comfortable and equipped with wired radio. Our breakfast room offers every morning an exclusive and elegant buffet with a rich variety of fresh fruit, fruit juices, yoghurt, cereals and homemade cakes; moreover with our coffee bar service you can taste wonderful cappuccino or espresso.

Our guests can taste breakfast surrounded by pleasant background music.

In summer breakfast can be also served outside.

Our swimming pool is located in the western part of the farm holiday Villa I Barronci overlooking the wonderful panorama of the valley below. In the upper left corner there is the whirl pool section where you can enjoy moments of absolute relax.
The swimming pool is open from 9.00 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. from April to October.

Restaurant and coffee bar service.
You can directly make your orders from the swimming pool. Moreover, upon prior notice, we can arrange for you classical Tuscan lunches or dinners. Our coffee bar is open from 8.00 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Golf Club dell'Ugolino 20 mins
Golf Club Ugolino is one of the first courses opened in Italy and the first in Tuscany. It is located at a few kilometres from Florence in the spectacular Chianti region, rich of gentle rolling hills which offer an interesting course and a breathtaking scenery. Our guests are always enthusiastic about the tranquillity and the beauty of the surroundings. Due to natural obstacles one needs to concentrate hard for the first 9 holes. The last 9 holes are less difficult but not for this reason less varied or interesting.

Montelupo Golf Club 20 mins
The nine-hole course is situated 20 km from Florence alongside the Arno River surrounded by the Chianti Montalbano hillsides. The par 36, 2877 meter lay-out is not overly difficult but offers some interesting strategic holes. A special characteristic of Montelupo Golf Club is that every hole offers 4 or 5 tees of varying lengths so that golfers of all handicaps can enjoy the course.

Golf Club Fontevivo 25 mins
The numerous and most various types of trees alongside the fairways could render the game difficult on this hilly course. Most of the greens are up-hill and surrounded by bunkers. This 9-hole course was designed by Sergio Baldi.

Le Pavoniere 30 mins
The course has been made more undulating with sensible earth filling, and is surrounded by holm-oak woods, by cluster pine and cypresses. Very long fairways, four tees for each hole are the features of the course. The greens are all about a thousand square metres wide and are very undulating.
