There is a great range of leisure activities to be enjoyed either along the coast (sailing, diving, walks at the beach or through the saltworks, horse-riding…) or inland (walking, thermal waters, climbing, wind sports…). You can also visit leisure areas and theme parks in the surrounding areas.

Torrevieja is well connected to the main European cities by a fast and modern communication system (either by air, road or train). There is a first class health system with modern facilities nearby which will guarantee you a safe holiday. You can also find many commercial centres in the vicinity.

Culture

The history of Southeast Spain is more than 20 centuries old. You can visit important archaeological discoveries from the Roman, Visigoth or Carthaginian times as well as modern centres with a significant cultural value.

Climate

The mild Mediterranean temperatures, minimum 18ºC, allow the area to have around 300 sunny days per year and maintain pleasant water temperatures all year. This unique climate makes this a privileged area.

Club de Golf de Villamartin
The Villamartin course is not excessively long but has been adapted by the natural surroundings with the presence of water obstacles at some holes.  There are a few slopes and hills on the Villamartin and it’s located in a river bed. The main difficulty in The Villamartin course is avoiding the many obstacles they have to offer the player such as a natural cliff and many greens are large which makes each hole very different.

Club de Golf Las Ramblas
Par 72 18 holes 5914m.
The Las Ramblas golf course is located between two ravines on the shore of the Mediterranean. It is also situated next to a luxury housing estate. The course is known for its narrow fairways and greens. Accurate hitting and precision are required when hitting the ball to maintain your handicap.
There are only four holes where water does not feature, and the course has some memorable holes. The rocky terrain is spectacular, with elevated tees, narrow fairways and lightning fast greens.

Real Club de Golf de Campoamor
It is in fairly open country and has attractive vegetation. The fairways at Campoamor are wide and long giving the impression of easy play. The inclination of the greens and fairways however make accurate play quite difficult and this offers the biggest challenge.  There are a couple of short Par 4s, which will appeal to the big hitters who can try and reach the green in one. The is a good mix of Par 3, 4, and 5's and hole 12 makes fun play. A real holiday course, which will do your ego the world of good

Club de Golf La Marquesa
Take advantage of the beautiful weather that is offered by the fantastic Costa Blanca, to practice your favourite sport during the whole year, and do it in the golf course that has all the services that a player needs.  Located in a flat valley in between the mountains, and sheltered by its own unique microclimate, is the La Marquesa golf & country club.  It has an 18-hole course that is quite comfortable without excess difficulties, with altering long and short holes.

The course, designed by Jose Gancedo, is 6394m in length, Par 72 and opened in 2001.  La Finca Golf Club is located near the towns of Algorfa and Orihuela.
